Born and raised in Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley, she vocally trained for eight years, performing in musical theatre in Washington, D.C., New York, and California, and doing demos and jingles for various studios. Eventually moving to Nashville, she joined the United Daughters of the Confederacy in 2003, and became a chairperson for The Music of the Confederacy for the state of Tennessee. Realizing the need to record songs from this time period, it is her intent to preserve the songs of the Civil War era in the hope that they are remembered and treasured.
"I feel I have selected familiar and obscure songs from this period with Neil Andrews creating fresh arrangements yet retaining the original flavor of the songs. This project was a joy to record and I hope you will support me in honoring and remembering the people who lived, survived, and died during this period of our American history."

CD produced and recorded by Neil Andrews.
